Just like the leaves on the trees, hair also begins to fall more heavily with the arrival of autumn. Far from worry invading us, it is necessary know certain aspects to normalize this situation.

It does not fall, it is renewed, why?

Normally when hair loss becomes visible, we begin to think that perhaps our interior is not working correctly. However, it is part of our heritage as mammals that we once were, and the truth is that it is a process of renewal.

But why is it renewed? This hair loss has to do above all with the process of birth and hair growth consisting of three stages:

  1. The first, anagen phase, is the stage in which the hair is growing. Normally 90% of our hair is found in it.
  2. catagen phase, it is a transition period in which hair growth and hair follicle activity stop for two weeks. Less than 5% of our hair is in this phase.
  3. telogen phase, this phase is the rest of the hair follicle and lasts about three months, the hair falls to be replaced by the new one. In normal cases, only 6% of the hair is in this phase.

Unlike animals, human hair goes through different phases at the same time and that is why we do not completely shed. The most pronounced fall, in autumn, is due to the fact that at this time a high number of hair follicles coincides with the telogen phase so the hair begins to fall to be renewed.

The necessary assets for healthy and renewed hair

As long as hair loss is due to a physiological process, we should not worry, however, what we can do is integrate into our day to day active ingredients and ingredients that help new hair grow stronger and healthier.

– Arginine and Zinc Citrate. Nutrition plays a fundamental role in renewal processes and, in the case of hair, too. Contributing amino acids such as L-arginine and Zinc Citrate to our diet can have great benefits since they improve blood supply to the hair follicle and stimulate hair growth. In addition, they favor the activation of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles in charge of lubricating the follicle so that the hair grows stronger.

-MSM. It contains a high sulfur content, essential to maintain proper hair health as it is part of the keratin composition. To this is added its antioxidant power, to combat the effect of free radicals, which can affect the health of the hair.

– Ginseng, Gingko Biloba and Ferrous Sulfate. These ingredients stimulate the production of collagen, an essential substance in the hair structure and in charge of giving it firmness, elasticity, body and smoothness. In conjunction with Ferrous Sulfate, the necessary oxygen is provided to the scalp.

– Group B vitamins and Vitamin D. Group B vitamins and vitamin D work in synergy to achieve a regenerative effect as they stimulate blood circulation, which favors hair nutrition. In addition, vitamins B8 and B12 provide luminosity and hydration.
